As a team, we work closely with the Patient’s Healthcare Professionals, who have prescribed a rehabilitation evaluation to determine the most appropriate mobility aid that fits their individual needs.
Power functions we can provide and the symptoms that may qualify them for full insurance coverage:
Power Tilt
Patient has pressure sores or history of pressure sores, is unable to perform functional weight shift, is unable to control tone or spasticity, or needs full Assistance to transfer.
Power Recline
Patient requires a catheter, is unable to perform functional weight shift, has hip displacement, or has hip contractures.
Power Elevating Leg Rests
Patient has edema, fixed knee contractures, or needs assistance reaching a full recline position.
